I founded Blue Copper Design in 2018 after seeing how accessibility is treated as an afterthought rather than a foundation. That gap became my purpose. I believe beautiful design and accessibility should always work seamlessly together.
After a spinal cord injury in 2009, my relationship with space changed entirely. I experienced firsthand how our environments shape independence, comfort, and daily life. That perspective guides me through every project. To me, great design is not just about how a space looks, it is about how it supports you through every stage of life, with ease, dignity, and intention.
When I am not working, you will find me watching documentaries, traveling somewhere new, or taking an unreasonable number of photos of my dogs. Thank you so much for being here!
Our signature style reflects the resilient landscapes and textures from our home state of Arizona. Grounded in natural materials, sun washed tones, and artisan influences that reflect the desert’s quiet strength.
A well designed home supports how you truly live with luxuries woven into the everyday. We prioritize quality and longevity to deliver elevated spaces that feel balanced, brave, earthy, and intentionally lived in.

We accept projects of all kinds and do not require the project to have accessibility elements. We do stress the importance of making homes more inclusive and accessible and will always give suggestions on how to do that within the project parameters.
