Our interior design aesthetic is grounded in the style of the American West. We are inspired by a mix of design styles and focus on elements that reflect the unconventional beauty and rugged spirit found throughout our beautiful region.
At its core, our aesthetic represents a balanced blend of the past, present, and future. It is resilient and serene. It celebrates our history of bravery, exploration, and individualism, while looking toward the future with optimism and creativity.
We create spaces that are warm, welcoming, and authentic
by mixing natural materials like wood, stone, and leather with sun-drenched tones. We embrace natural light and the beauty of time. We love to incorporate artisan-made pieces to create spaces that feel layered, personal, and deeply memorable.

About the studio
I founded Blue Copper Design in 2018 with a brave mission to unite beautiful interiors with accessibility. After sustaining a spinal cord injury in 2009, my perspective on spaces shifted entirely. I learned firsthand that design should go beyond looking beautiful, they need to support how we live, move, and grow through life.
Accessible housing options are limited, and the home industry offers little guidance on creating environments that are both stylish and truly accessible. This gap is my motivation. I set out to become the resource I couldn’t find and to be a voice in the industry showing that accessibility and beauty can harmonious blend together.
Growing up in Arizona shaped my love for a Desert Eclectic aesthetic. I’m endlessly inspired by the rugged desert, Spanish influences, and those incredible Arizona sunsets. My design philosophy is grounded in the spirit of the West and the belief that everyone deserves to live in a home that elevates their lives.
