Austin Texas here we come. We loved leading this whole home renovation in the heart of Austin. Austin brings strong character, great food, and a creative energy that continues to shape the city. Our clients have lived in Austin for years and shared how the city has evolved into a vibrant design destination. We drew inspiration from the blend of old Austin charm and modern growth as the foundation for this interior design project.
This Texas ranch home renovation seamlessly balances sleek finishes with patinated materials, honoring the past while creating a fresh, updated feel. At the same time, we preserved the home’s traditional ranch character while thoughtfully updating the floor plan to support our newlywed clients. Throughout the design process, smart storage solutions, a simplified layout, rich color palettes, and luxurious bathroom design guided every decision. As a result, each update remains rooted in a western aesthetic that reflects classic Texas style while supporting modern living.
New furnishings paired with antique pieces create layered, collected interiors with lasting appeal and visual depth. In particular, the living room rug stands out as one of our favorite statement pieces in the home. In the kitchen, bold blue cabinetry pairs with a quartz backsplash and copper tile detailing on the peninsula for contrast and warmth. Throughout the home, modern statement lighting adds interest and cohesion, and in true Austin style, a dedicated bar anchors the space for effortless entertaining.
